This year there we will also see a change of venue. In previous years the SPACE event was held at the Spring Branch Campus gallery. This year the gallery event will be held at the Alief/Hayes Road campus. This will allow the show to be exhibited for the whole semester rather than just 30 days.

Finally, we have made updates to the submission process and the categories available for submission. Please see the FAQ tab for more info.

The process will remain the same this year. Images submitted will be reviewed by HCC faculty. Awards will be judged by industry professionals, TBA.

2nd Annual S.P.A.C.E. Exhibit On The Move

We are excited to announce that the annual S.P.A.C.E. exhibit will now be a travel show. After a very successful showing at the Spring Branch campus, S.P.A.C.E. will now move to the HCC Alief campus where it will be on display on third floor outside of room 317 & 318. We are considering the idea of having another opening reception. The exhibit will hang at Alief for the duration of the Fall 2016 semester. It will then travel to the HCC West Loop campus where it will be on display again.

The images will be hung at Alief this Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Announcements and flyers will be distrubuted when we have further dates and times.

Meet the judges for SPACE 2016

As we prepare for the opening reception of the 2nd Annual SPACE event, finding the right judge(s) to choose the final winning images was of the utmost importance.
