SPACE (Student Photographer Annual Collaborative Exhibit) is an annual opportunity for the students of Houston Community College, Digital Communication Department, Digital Photography program to exhibit their work in a public gallery. Held every year at the HCC Spring Branch Art Gallery, 50 images highlighting student work of all levels is exhibited for 30 days. Nearly all genres of photography are represented. This event gives student an opportunity to publicly display their work, win awards, and gain valuable gallery exhibition experience.

SPACE was created by students for students. Each year the event is coordinated and managed by a committee of students, lead by a full time faculty member. The students are responsible for organizing, promoting, and hanging the show.
